LEADERSHIP IN TELFAIR HOA
As Telfair HOA President, Sanjay was instrumental in bringing positive changes to Telfair HOA operations. He worked to:
-
Develop an environment of trust and cohesion amongst HOA delegates to work as a team towards community goals
-
Foster transparency, financial stability and efficient project execution as core pillars of HOA governance
-
Improved community amenities while reducing HOA fees to amongst the lowest in Sugar Land
-
Strengthen the HOA's financial reserves and securing its future
ADVOCACY AGAINST THE SUGAR LAND POWER PLANT
Sanjay has also worked tirelessly to amplify the voice of residents. During the Sugar Land Power Plant debate, he:
-
Led residents in raising concerns about the Power Plant to the Sugar Land City Council and the SL Mayor, emphasizing the lack of transparency and environmental impact
-
Spoke at the New Territory town hall and later organized and led a town hall for Telfair residents
-
Helped mobilize residents, leading to the project's cancellation
COMMITMENT TO SUGAR LAND'S FUTURE
Sanjay has been married to Ruchi for 35 years, and together, they have built a home in Sugar Land with their 2 sons and daughter-in-law. The Singhal family is proud to call Sugar Land home and is committed to keeping it one of the best places to live in the nation.
Now, Sanjay is running for Sugar Land City Council to bring the same professionalism, transparency, and resident-focused leadership to city management. He is committed to ensuring Sugar Land remains safe, sustainable and suburban and making sure residents' voices are heard in every decision.
